Auld Reekie Roller Derby (“ARRD”, “we”) is committed to processing your data securely and transparently. This privacy notice relates to our handling of your personal information collected via our website, social media, intranet, forum, email, associated third-party sites such and PayPal and Brown Paper Tickets and other sources, including privacy information shared electronically, verbally and physically. Please note that third party site have their own privacy policies.

We may collect and process the personal information of visitors to our website. Such information would include details of the visitor’s visit, including pages viewed and location data. We would also collect and process your personal information that you voluntarily provide when communicating with us via the website, including your name and email address.

Our website uses cookies. The cookies generated are mainly analytical (e.g. tracking visitor’s journey through the site), helping us to improve the site and its usability. The Twitter widget on the website generates third-party cookies, allowing the user to personalise it. You can block the cookies if you wish so via your browser, but please note that it may limit the functionality of the site.

Other:
ARRD will collect your personal information directly from you for the purpose of providing you our services, such as membership, training, marketing communications, events, products and others. This information will be collected with your consent only, and may include your name, date of birth, email address, home address, your communication preferences, the record of our communication with you, payment details, waivers and medical information necessary to health and safety. Such information may be collected via our website, email, verbally, as hard copies, or via third parties, including PayPal or Brown Paper Tickets.

Please note that our public events maybe have photography and filming, which may be shared on the website, social media or promotional purposes. The notice of this will be available at the events.

Storing your personal data

We have implemented processes to ensure your data is held securely in line with GDPR requirements and we ensure it is protected against accidental loss, disclosure or abuse. Your data will not be shared with any third parties unless if it is necessary to provide our services to you (i.e. membership). We will let you know when your details are shared and direct you towards the third parties’ privacy policy.

ARRD will take all necessary steps to ensure your personal data is securely stored. However please note that data transference over the internet may not be always 100% secure, therefore any provision of personal information over the internet is done at your own risk.

We will store your personal data for a period of time necessary for us to provide our services or until you ask us to dispose of it. You have the right to request access, correction, erasure or withdrawal of your personal information.
