Hi, my R3s are making my ankles bleed. Any advice, please? :wcskull:

These have been a life (and ankle) saver.

You probably need to break them in. Wear them while sitting in the house.

I still wear tubigrip after 10 months of skating with R3s, if I don't my ankles get ripped to shreds. To shreds!!!!

It's better to have hot feet than bleeding ankles, oh yes.

I just put plasters on my ankles pre-emptively (for the uber cheapo option) :gbanana:

Don't wear cotton socks. There are some people who also wear 2 pairs of socks.

I tried the multiple sock thing - no effect. Normal plasters come off within seconds of skating. Compeed blister plasters work but only last one session and as I need them on both ankles that gets expensive - home brand versions I tried don't have the sticking power.

In the end I followed MJs advice and got a bootie with gel pads :http://sixpointzero.com/accessories/gel ... lar-sleeve

Works a dream!
