Down but not out...

Post by Lethal Drizzle » Tue Oct 30, 2012 6:09 pm

Hello!

I am a newbie - just started fresh meat two weeks ago. I must say I absolutely love it.

I am, however, the idiot that went over her ankle last Sunday in the FM practice session and it turns out I have fractured my fibula and have to be in a cast for six weeks.

I just wanted to say to all the girls and guys in this Fresh Meat - best of luck and I am sad to not be graduating with you all.

And also, to he rest of the ARRG team, if there is anything non-skating related that I can help out with until I can get back on a pair of skates please count me in! Hopefully I'll be back in the game come the next FM.

Happy Halloween and hopefully see you all around.

Hey Storm!

UHHHHHHHH fib empathy! I am so sorry to hear this!! There are still lots of opportunities to get involved and new skaters will be emailing opportunities to do NSO-ing or helping out at bouts.

If we can help at all just drop us a line.

:( Aw, sorry to hear this. I totally understand your pain.

Like has been said, we're all here for you. And to follow on with what Connie said, the officials are always happy for people volunteering for NSOing. There will be plenty of opportunities to do so, and it's a great off skates way to learn derby and stay involved while you heal :) referees@arrg.co.uk

Awwwwww dude I'm so sorry! Damn, you were pretty hardcore about it, so I was crossing my fingers that it wouldn't be anything serious... And yeah, there's loads you can do to keep involved, but also let us know if there's anything we can do to help!

Hope it heals soon.
