Few Questions!

Post by Harrison Floored » Wed Jan 26, 2011 9:53 pm

Alright!

My lovely lady Deep Fried Pixxie has been making me think about becoming a ref for a while now as all she talks about is skating.

Just got a few of questions,

How extreme is the training to be a ref?

Is it a different set of minimums?

Also any ideas where I can get a cheap pair of practice skates in Size 13uk?

I used to roller skate and blade a lot and currently longboard so my balance is good.

Hello!
Just to say that a ref will prob answer this for you and give you the info you need but we always welcome new refs, we've got a really good ref team built up in ARRG and the more the merrier!

Also so you know, we need people to attend a fresh meat session and do the training to skate that way. The next one is 1st May 2011 and it's a 16 week course.

You will need to have all your own skates and gear (there's a seperate section on the forum all about what gear/where to get it) and also please email everyone@newskaters.arrg.co.uk to secure your place once you have your gear!

Looking forward to having you :)
