Be part of the LGBT Health Centre's film about coming out

Post by Lethal Drizzle » Thu Jan 17, 2013 3:56 pm

Hey there,

As part of LGBT History Month the 'LGBT Centre for Health and Wellbeing' is producing a film about people's experiences of coming out at different ages and stages of life. We are looking for people to contribute to the film by sharing their stories. Filming takes place at the end of February

To link with us on facebook to keep up to date with the project, please find us at

There is a range of videos on Youtube and other such outlets, about people’s experiences of being LGBT. This is an opportunity to be part of something local, relevant and unique for LGBT people living in and around Edinburgh in 2013.

Coming out is a lifelong process. It could be a positive experience, a difficult time, or something that involves mixed emotions. We’re looking to hear from anyone who may be interested in sharing their stories from any part of the coming out process, to be part of a locally produced film during LGBT History Month. Could your story help others? It could be something to do with yourself, friends or family, partner, workplace or other communities.

If you’re interested in getting involved or wish to find out more please contact Jules to request a registration form via or 0131 523 1104 by February 13th.
