Re: Anarchy in the UK!
I really wanna go to this but need to do it on the cheap. I'm going to try and get the Sat off work and if successful I will drive us down if you want.
If we can fill a 17 seat minibus it will be roughly £750 split 17 ways = £45 each all in. Plus there'll be a bus to sleep in?! Obv. Mrs Clockwise & myself will take up 2 seats so that's 15 available.
Anyone up for this?

Hmm, initial negotiations for getting sat 9th off work haven't gone well. Basically I have to try and swap and the guy I could do it with wasn't even up for me giving him my Monday off and ALSO paying him a days pay. I'll work on him though.

thanks Sid!
also Andy - i cant believe your work colleague is refusing days off AND money to swap with you!! what will it take, a bunch of roller girls to go in and ask him nicely - then beat him into submission if he says no??

I am already in Englandland for work until Thursday of that week so I think I may take some time off to go visit Brighton people and take the train, not a bus. I'm up for sharing a hostel, though!
Don't dream it - be it.

On April 9-10, we are hosting the first-ever WFTDA tournament to be held outside the USA, and you're invited! There will be six hard-hitting bouts at Excel, with the visiting teams posing our all-star team London Brawling's toughest challenges yet. We've been training harder than ever (cue montage) to prove ourselves - do well, and we might just be heading back to the States later on this year to compete for the WFTDA Eastern Regional Championship.
