Anarchy pads will likely need replaced with better pads (187s/Scabs) pretty quickly as they don't offer as much protection so, especially when learning knee falls etc in Fresh meat, you may want to pay the extra now to save from forking out in the long run to keep those knees safe. People do get by ...

The demiurge look nice but I think would be too hard for me. They do a different one, a skinny tyre with 90a strip and a 94a (I think) main part but they are not in stock here yet.
I went for the Faster Skate grips, with the removable hubs I can pick up others another time without forking out. Yay!

My laces are rubbish and loosen terribly when tied. They've also started to slice right through the eyelets on my boots rendering them nearly useless. Can anyone recommend a good long lace that won't loosen/Slip so much?
